How can I help you?

Your brain and gut are an interconnected system that feed each other information as well as help to run the rest of your body. If you suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome, or any regular issues with your digestion, there can be many causes of your upset. No doubt your GP has already ruled out the serious illness that an unhappy digestive system can be a symptom of. But did you know that there may be changes we can make that will bring you relief? I understand the discomfort and worry that an unpredictable gut can bring. Together we will take the time to understand your life as a whole. Whether it’s your work/life balance, diet or levels of anxiety a genuine change for the better can be achieved.

Irritable bowel syndrome / IBS

Working with the mind and body can bring about substantial benefits for people who have IBS in their life. A bowel that is over sensitised and often functioning spasmodically can have a huge impact on a person’s ability to function. For people suffering with irritable bowel syndrome, the effect on their life can vary from occasional to consistent and debilitating. Some people experience bloating or diarrhoea whilst others have constipation or suffer with all three symptoms.

It may be the case the you have run out of ideas, but your body and mind are the greatest resource you have and gaining an understanding of how yours are communicating and acting together, can prove to be a turning point in therapy.
